For organisations
Ask your customers for less, store less, and work with details that stay current. With Unidy, a person authorises the specific information you need, for a stated purpose and time.

Reduce cost
- Less data to collect, check and correct
- Fewer support calls about out-of-date details
- Less personal data to store, protect and eventually delete
- Less compliance work for data you no longer keep
Reduce risk
Personal data you do not hold cannot leak from your systems. Asking for a verified answer, such as “over 18”, instead of a copy of a passport keeps your exposure small if you are ever breached.
Convert more customers
- Less typing, fewer forms, fewer document uploads
- Details that are current, because they come from the person
- Faster sign-ups and checkouts
How one request works
- You ask for what you need: “shipping address”.
- The person sees the request in plain words and allows it.
- You receive the permitted value, as it is today.
- Next time, you read the current value again instead of trusting a copy from last year.
How you connect
Unidy is an OpenID Connect and OAuth provider. If your product already offers a “continue with” button, adding Unidy is the same kind of integration.
When a person links their Unidy, you receive their name and their Unidy ID, never their email address: you reach them through Unidy. Anything else, such as a shipping address, you request when you need it, and receive current if they allow it.
Where this is today
People can create a Unidy today. Connecting organisations is being built with a first group of integration partners. To be one of them, write to partners@unidy.com.
Free for people: no payment, no credit card. An organisation has nobody to ask until people have a Unidy, so it starts with people. To integrate, write to partners@unidy.com.
