Your personal information is everywhere. It shouldn’t be.

Banks, shops, gyms and apps each keep a copy of your personal information and documents, and you can’t see or update any of them. With Unidy, you keep it all in one place and decide who sees what, and for how long.

Create your Unidy

Free for people: no payment, no credit card. Your information is not the product.

Free for you. So how does Unidy make money?

Unidy is a business, but your personal information is not our product.

  • Not from your data. We will never sell your personal information, or use it to profile you.
  • From optional extras. Personalise your Unidy ID, or have a document authenticated when someone needs proof it is genuine. Later, more space and extras like sending by SMS. Your 1 GB stays free.
  • Later, from Unidy merchandise. Mugs, t-shirts and caps, for people who like the brand.
  • Later, from new services and from companies you said yes to. You choose the subjects you want to hear about. Companies pay to send a message on those subjects, only through Unidy, and never get your contact details.

Today: every company keeps its own copy of your details, and it goes out of date. With Unidy: they ask. You decide.

What it costs you

Every company that keeps your information is one more door someone can open.

  • Calls you never asked for. From numbers you have never seen, who somehow know your name.
  • Spam. An inbox to clean every morning, from lists you never joined.
  • Scams. Messages that know your address and what you bought last week.
  • Phishing. Pages that look exactly like the bank you trust.
  • Data leaks. A breach at a company you had forgotten you ever used.

Nobody can tell you which company leaked your information, or who sold it.

Your Unidy

Your information stays with you, always up to date. Companies ask for what they need, and you say yes or no.

Where this goes

Tell me everything, again.

“Give me your Unidy.”

That’s all a shop, a bank or a gym will need to ask. One button replaces the whole form.

They keep your Unidy ID, not a copy of your details. Each time they need your address, they ask your Unidy. If you said yes, they get your address as it is today. If not, they get nothing.

Notarised copy

1 GB free for your documents: room for hundreds of them.

Each person gets their own copy of your document. Never your original.

Your passport goes in once and stays in your Unidy, encrypted. When you share it, Unidy creates a new document for each person, automatically: a virtual copy with only what you chose and their name on it. You send it as a QR code, a short link, by email, by SMS or to another Unidy, and it stops working when you say. Even when a bank needs the full document, it gets a watermarked copy made for it, carrying its name, the date and a code that ties it to that share. Never the file you uploaded.

What the gym sees when it opens it

  1. It scans the QR code or opens the link.
  2. It types the PIN Sarah gave them.
  3. It sees a copy made for it: her name and “over 18”, everything else covered, and its own name across the page.
The gym’s copy of Sarah Martin’s passport: surname and first name visible, an “Over 18 · verified” stamp, every other field covered and marked “Not shared”, and “Copy for Gym ACME Fitness · 20 Sep 2026 · K4F5-A9M2” repeated across the page.

The link never points to your original document.

Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive are good at what they do: they send the whole file, safely. Sending a file safely is not the same as sharing only what’s needed.

Why this can be trusted

Control you can see, not a promise you have to take.

  • No master key.

Each Unidy has its own key, kept apart from the data. There is no single key that opens every Unidy.

  • Access has an end.

You give it for a reason and a set time. It ends on its own, and you can end it sooner.

  • You see who looked.

Who opened what, when, and under which permission.

  • The original stays with you.

Whoever you share with gets a copy made for them, with only what you allowed and their name on it. Even a full document leaves watermarked, never as the file you uploaded.
